What you will find
Nam Tok Ron, the hot waterfall in Thai, is a stream fed by hot springs. Most sources put the water at roughly 35 to 42 °C at the source; others give higher figures.
According to the one source we found on the question, it is run locally, by the Khlong Thom Nuea subdistrict administration, rather than by the national parks department.
Getting there
By road, inland in Khlong Thom district, in the subdistrict of Khlong Thom Nuea, or on a day tour that combines it with the Emerald Pool and the Tiger Cave Temple. Tour listings sometimes just say hot springs: check which site yours stops at.
Before you go
Do not confuse it with the saline hot spring of Huai Nam Khao, another site in the same district run by a different local council. Both are often sold as Krabi Hot Springs.
An entry fee is charged at the gate. Sources disagree on whether one ticket covers both this site and the Emerald Pool; they appear to have different managers, so expect to pay at each.
The rocks are slippery: stay on the paths. Sources advise keeping each soak short, and facilities such as changing rooms and toilets are basic.
