Railay is where Krabi climbs. Climbers began bolting routes on the peninsula in the late 1980s, and the cliffs above its beaches now carry several hundred of them. Many of the old anchors have been replaced with titanium, which matters on rock that stands in salt air.
This is a class rather than a guided day out. The booking page describes it as an introduction to rock climbing, four hours long, taken in the morning or the afternoon, with an instructor and on several routes. It does not name the walls, so where you climb is the operator's choice on the day.
